I do not understand what Prometheus has to do with this bundle other than being “alien”. When I came to this bundle, I was expecting nothing but movies related to the ORIGINAL 1979 Sigourney Weaver alien movies. Perhaps I am wrong and not enough preview of the movie Prometheus was revealed.

Alien vs Predator fan

For those who don’t get the role the movie Prometheus plays in the Alien bundle it actually is the prequel to the first Alien movie. The Engineers bioengineered life on Earth and throughout other galaxies. Spoiler alert… when a team of explorers went to find the Engineers the Xenomorphs accidentally got created or shall we say recreated in the image of our familiar alien Ripley fights so valiantly in all three Alien movies. These are the very same Xenomorphs that continue from Prometheus to Alien: Covenant which is also a prequel to Alien. Watch the director’s cut of Alien to put it together.

This is the ultimate Alien pack

I’m in a minority I know, but Prometheus and Alien: Covenant are my two favorite additions to this series since Aliens. Prometheus, even though it doesn’t say ‘Alien’ in the title, is part of the Alien chronology. Prometheus and Alien: Covenant, watched in that order, go together to form a prequel to the events of the original Alien movie. This is the ultimate Alien movie collection since all of the included movies compose the complete movie canon of the extended universe Fox has been creating lately. That is, complete until Ridley Scott finishes his supposed prequel trilogy with the final installment, if it happens.
